Debra had owned her own business before moving to Perth in 1996, where she began in administration. Debra’s career has seen her in various positions from being a Receptionist in Northbridge, moving onto being an Office Manager / Personal Assistant to a CEO where she enjoyed learning about mortgages and financing machinery and other products which led her onto being a financial broker.

Debra has also worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO for the Town of Mosman Park, and then moved on to work for the Department of Transport in Karratha as a Personal Assistant to the Regional Manager and Operations Manager.

In February 2014 she joined Ngarliyamdu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation in Reobourne as an Executive Assistant. Through hard work she studied and received her Diploma of Management and Leadership through West Coast TAFE and began to manage the Centrelink office and staff, which enabled her to show her leadership skills.

Debra is a mother of three and a grandmother of 8 children who enjoys quilting and sewing in her spare time.
